The purpose of supervision is to facilitate the therapeutic process, to support the therapist and protect the client. The process of supervision is likely to focus on client work and caseload. It will seek to identify and acknowledge therapeutic efficacy, and at the same time to explore ways of working with difficulties.
We are most keen to promote supervision as a particularly effective route to acquiring clinical skills and would like to see it become much more evident in the world of physiotherapy in particular. Please contact us if you would like to know more about supervision.
